British rape girl to be tried?

Today we have the story in the Sun Online about the british girl who turned to the police for help after allegedly being raped by a hotel waiter. But because she wasn’t in her home in England but in Dubai it turned out to be maybe not the wisest decision in the world. For now she is being tried for having illegal sex with her boyfriend. If sentenced, she faces up to 6 years in jail.
