Ballack unhappy with fans

Captain of the german soccer team, Michael Ballack, was unhappy with fans in Hamburg after they booed and whistled the German team off after a dismal display against Finland, where they drew very luckily 1-1 after a last minute equaliser from Lukas Podolski.

Ballack was reported as saying that the German team deserved more after qualifying for the World Cup Finals next year in the last match against Russia a few days before.

What Ballack obviously fails to realise is that the public payed up to 80 Euros for a ticket for this match and rightly expect every man to do his best. When all is said and done, these people have turned him into a multi-millionaire.

One could be forgiven for thinking that a good many football stars have forgotten where they came from …
