Name That Tune 3.6

On the eve of the annual “Eurovision Song Contest” I reckon I should be having a look back at songs past in this competition. I decided against it however. Germany have enrolled the help of the USA this year, engaging Dita von Teese to “dance” in the background whilst the performers are singing their song, no doubt trying to distract the audience from the tune…. gonna be an interesting evening . but to be fair, I suppose they have to think of something when the music is so bad… not what it used to be I’m afraid.

Last week I was looking for David Gray – Babylon and Gary Moore (anyone kicking themselves now?) – The Story of the Blues, which seemed to pose more of a problem than I though it would.

WTG then to Andy (both artists, one song), Mike daddyo (Babylon), Alan (both) Elvisaaron (both) and Trish & Todd (Babylon).

The table:

20 points: Alan Novich
17 points: Trish & Todd,Andy
14 points: Dan, Elvisaaron
10 points: Mike (daddyo)
9 points: Mike (mscho)
4 points: Ellie, Lynda, Duncanw
2 points: Renfield
1 point: Debi

Seem easy points on offer today, especially one for you Debi. Let’s see what you make of these clips:

Not so bad this week. Men W/O Hats and The Safety Dance (which sounds like a Eurovision entry anyway) and I Fall To Pieces by the great Patsy Cline, which does NOT sound like a Eurovision entry.
